Urban tranquility was the inspiration for this garden. The multi-level patio provides an entertaining area. Stepping stones lead into the cutting garden filled with perennials and blooming shrubbery. A fountain attracts birds and helps to hide traffic noise. Annuals and containers bring color to the whole space.

Low maintenance was key in the design for this homeowner. Creating a wide path with pebbles eliminates mowing, but allows the space to be used for seating, lounging, and entertaining. The plantings incorporated grasses, herbs, and perennials. Containers were also utilized to protect plants from the family dachshund.
